These fun and informal sessions are free and designed for men and women who have never played before or may be returning to hockey for the first time since playing at school.

We launched our Back to Hockey campaign in May 2017 and saw over 50 people sign up for the six summer sessions with many returning in September for more training sessions.

Club members/players are welcome to come along and help out. To find out more go to our Back to Hockey page on this website or visit our Facebook page at

Back to Hockey summer sessions

Coming soon….Back to Hockey at Anchs celebrates its first birthday with the launch of new summer sessions from Monday 8th May.
These fun and informal evenings will start at 7.30pm and are to encourage new and returning adult players to pick up a stick and give hockey a go.
We had over 50 men and women join us last summer and while many have started playing for our seniors on a Saturday, others just enjoy a relaxed runabout and the chance to find new skills and new friends. Equipment can be provided during these special six summer sessions and we’re also inviting original Back to Hockey attendees to come along to share their experiences.
