U10s postponed

Due to frozen pitches this afternoon’s u10 tournament at Canterbury is postponed.

Junior Training Cancelled. 18th March.

Dear all,

With the pitch already covered, more snow falling and the temperature not set to rise overnight I am cancelling all junior training tomorrow morning. Next weekend is our final Sunday morning and will be the family tournament starting from around 10. Keep an eye for details.

U10s, your afternoon tournament is currently still ON but Canterbury will be looking again in the morning and making a decision around 10a.m. As soon as I know anything I will let you know.

Junior dinner & disco postponed due to snow – 17th March

All,
I’m sorry to say that we have taken the decision to postpone this evening’s junior dinner. We haven’t taken the decision lightly, but there is still a Met Office amber weather warning from 4pm running through to tomorrow. We are in good company – as well as all our hockey games being postponed, the Gills game is off for spectator safety.
I know that everyone will be very disappointed, but I hope that you will understand that everyone’s safety is paramount.
All those party outfits won’t go to waste. We will look to reschedule (likely early to mid April).
