GAHC’s data policy – GDPR

Good evening.
You are likely to have been bombarded with emails over the last few days from third parties about the way that they will hold and use your data when GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) comes into force on 25 May 2018.
We are finalising the Club’s GDPR/data policy and will be publishing shortly on the GAHC website. In the meantime, please rest assured that we will only be using any personal details collected for the legitimate interests of administering the club and keeping in touch on club-related matters.
We will be asking all members (and parents of junior members) to complete a new club membership form at the start of the 2018/19 season to ensure that we are legitimately holding and using your data for the purposes of administering Gillingham Anchorians Hockey Club (GAHC) and Gillingham Anchorians Sports Facility Ltd (GASFL, the limited company that manages the astro facility on behalf of GAHC).
If you have any concerns, please feel free to message me or Nigel McDonald.
